The Fruit Attraction 2023 Fair, an event that brought together over 90,000 professionals from 135 countries and featured the participation of 2,000 exhibiting companies from 56 states, has established itself as one of the most important events for the international horticultural sector.
In this impressive setting, +Broccoli stood out for its exceptional participation. Of the 55 partners that make up the Association, 24 of them became exhibitors at the fair, occupying 5 pavilions and showcasing the versatility and potential of broccoli both commercially and gastronomically.
One of the most memorable moments of the fair was the presentation of the “broccoli tortilla” during the celebration at the stands of +Broccoli’s exhibiting partners. This action exemplified our commitment to promoting healthy lifestyle habits and the consumption of this vegetable.
Toñi Piernas, our president, emphasized the importance of the fair for the association. “Fruit Attraction 2023 gave us the opportunity to present broccoli as a star product in both the industry and gastronomy,” Piernas stated. “We are delighted that 24 of our partners have been showcasing our products at this influential event.”
In addition to its culinary presence, we organized an exciting showcooking talk at Factoria Chef, in collaboration with FhhFontellas and chef Juan Carlos from the “Txoco de Juan Carlos” restaurant. During this presentation, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the association’s activities and the many virtues of broccoli. Together, we cooked a variety of delicious dishes, including broccoli in tempura, pickled broccoli, sautéed raw broccoli with prawns and soy sauce, which were enthusiastically tasted.
Furthermore, we participated in several innovation product presentations by our associates, emphasizing our commitment to promoting the growth and development of the broccoli industry.
