- What is Maguey Green’s main activity?
We are a newly established company in Murcia, dedicated to a project based on innovation, research, and development. Maguey Technology Green is a Special Employment Center that produces next-generation fertilizers.
- What do you contribute to the agriculture sector, especially in broccoli cultivation?
Our focus in the sector is on providing sustainability to water usage in agriculture and improving water utilization with our special fertilizer products. These products aim to achieve the highest crop yield per volume of water, or in other words, “more and better crops for every drop of water.”

- The broccoli is increasingly considered the food of the 21st century. How do you think its evolution will be in the coming years?
It is a healthy and nutritious food, so it’s not surprising that many people consider it an essential part of a balanced diet.
- Have you noticed a change in societal eating trends?
Some trends focus on economic sustainability, new regulatory changes, and increased consumer awareness of environmental impact, prompting companies towards real sustainability.
- Since when have you been collaborating with Más Brócoli? What do you appreciate most about this collaboration?
Our collaboration is recent. We are excited to collaborate with the +Brocoli association and contribute alongside industry professionals to the agricultural sector.
- Finally, any favorite recipe that none of our fans should miss?
-Broccoli with mango and cashew sauce.
- Ingredients for 2 people: 1 broccoli, 1 ripe mango, 2 small garlic cloves, 1 lime or lemon, a small piece of peeled fresh ginger, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, 1/4 teaspoon of paprika, a pinch of cayenne pepper, 5 ml of soy sauce, 3 ml of rice or apple vinegar, a handful of cashews, parsley or cilantro, pepper, salt, and extra virgin olive oil.
- Preparation: Cut the broccoli into florets. Trim the trunk tip and peel it slightly. Cut the stems branching from the central trunk and chop it into bite-sized portions, not too thick. Wash the broccoli thoroughly and drain. Steam for about 3-6 minutes. Peel the mango, remove the pit, and chop. Peel the garlic cloves, remove the central vein, and peel and chop the ginger. Place everything in a blender or food processor with some cashews and blend until a paste forms. Add lime juice, spices, soy sauce, vinegar, and a little olive oil to taste. Blend again until a creamy texture is achieved. Taste and season. Sauté the remaining cashews lightly in a dry, ungreased pan. Season the broccoli lightly and serve with mango sauce, whole cashews, and a little chopped cilantro or parsley.
