We promote broccoli consumption among the little ones in a new fresh and fun campaign
We launch our XVIII campaign under the claim “Eating broccoli, growing healthy” to encourage broccoli consumption among the little ones. The goal of this initiative is to promote healthy eating habits from childhood and raise awareness about the benefits of broccoli in the growth and development of children.
From April 17 to 30, at +Brócoli, we have prepared a series of actions on social media to reach the general public. Among the planned initiatives, users will be able to enjoy a live session on Instagram in which a pediatrician specialized in child nutrition will provide some tips for including broccoli in the diet of the little ones. From the age of 6 months, children can incorporate this food into their diet, providing them with significant health benefits, including essential vitamins such as vitamin C and K, which strengthen their bones and improve their immune system, and a high fiber content that promotes good digestion.
In addition, a recipe book with simple and healthy options has been created to help parents prepare dishes. This cookbook will be disseminated on social media and will be available for free download on the +Brócoli website.
To encourage the participation of the little ones, different activities such as giveaways and social media actions will be carried out, as well as activities in different nurseries so that they can learn about the benefits of broccoli consumption for their health in a playful and fun way.
“At +Brócoli, we know that it is essential to promote healthy eating habits from childhood, and we are convinced that broccoli is a key food for the growth and development of children,” says Antonia Piernas, president of +Brócoli. “With this campaign, we want to encourage parents to include broccoli in their children’s diet and show them that it can be a delicious and easy-to-prepare food,” she concludes.
At +Brócoli, we now have 53 members, including broccoli producers, seed companies, and auxiliary industry companies from across the country.
