Shrimp with broccoli and garlic

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Three broccoli heads
  • 200 grams of shrimp, rinsed
  • 1 cup of vegetable or chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt or tamari
  • 2-3 tablespoons chili paste
  • Toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a medium skillet, heat the sesame oil and garlic. Sauté until the garlic is fragrant (be careful not to burn it).
  2. Add the broccoli and stir to combine well. Then, add the chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
  3. After 3 minutes, add the shrimp and chili paste, cover, and cook for another 4 minutes or until the shrimp is well-cooked.
  4. Season with salt (or soy sauce) and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve on a plate, garnished with sesame seeds.
