Ingredients:
– 200 grams of rice.
– 1 onion.
– 1 garlic clove.
– 200 grams of broccoli.
– 100 grams of canned tuna.
– A few saffron threads.
– 1 liter of vegetable broth or water.
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
– Salt.
Preparation:
1. Prepare the vegetable sauté for the rice with the onion diced. Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the onion over low heat for about 5 minutes.
2. Add the rice and let it sauté with the vegetables.
3. Cover the rice with the vegetable broth (or water) and a few saffron threads. Let it simmer over low heat for 18 minutes.
– Midway through cooking, add the broccoli and the drained tuna from the can.
4. Remove the pot from the heat and let it sit uncovered for 5 minutes.
5. Serve the hot rice.
