The Association to Promote Broccoli Consumption
(+BROCOLI) was founded in 2010 as a non-profit entity with the main purpose of increasing broccoli consumption (a vegetable scientifically known as Brassica oleracea L.var. italica Plenck). It brings together farmers, marketers, researchers, nutritionists, restaurateurs, and all those entities and individuals interested in promoting the idea that any product derived from the cultivation of this species, even when processed in any form, can provide significant health benefits while being a delicious food.
We develop and promote the image of the Association around the message “Enjoy the + healthy.”
We provide information on how to cook broccoli to make its consumption nutritious and enjoyable for everyone’s taste.
To gather and disseminate scientific information that supports the nutritional and healthy properties of broccoli, as well as its proper storage, preparation, and consumption.
